This is what happens when you have more than one blog and when you are just simply lazy to write.
I have now managed 3 blogs, my personal blog, my travel blog, and my collaboration blog.
So much to write, but little time.
I haven't told you guys about why we NEED to write down everything that happens in our lives.
Ribka and I met about 4 years ago, July 1st, 2008, in Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
We were about to start our days as foreign students in Malaysia.
We were so naive back then. We knew nothing. But what we had was dreams and ambitions.
And there we went. We were officially students in Sunway University College, taking Canadian International Matriculation Program.
We used same agent that helped us settle down all requirements, that was why we were going to Malaysia together. And from that moment on, we knew each other.
I still remember, I was going with my mom and little brother and I was busy texting my boyfriend (now my ex), so I just put little attention to those people who were going together with me, including Ika. I was just introducing myself shortly without even trying to remember my friends' names. But I had chances having a little longer chit-chat when we arrived in KLIA. In the train, I stood in front of Ika and I just realized she previously went to Tarakanita GS High School, which was near my high school. I was so excited. Never imagined I would meet someone from your own "place".
But after the short conversation, I immediately forgot her.
Until the school started.
From our "Indonesian gank", only Ika and me took Science major. So, we were automatically close. But not that close. We just shared information relating subjects. We sometimes did homework together. And sometimes hung out together. That's all. Our friendship was just that shallow.
But everything was changed after our second semester in CIMP. We decided to take 3 same subjects with same allocation time. This made us... 24-hours partners. We practically did everything together. *Thank God we didn't share room as roommates. If we did.... unimaginable*.
Even, we worked as part-timers together in Jco Donuts in Sunway Pyramid. Initially we didn't plan to work together. *Because it was kinda "boring" meeting same person for 24 hours, right?*
Since that moment, we were getting closer.
Ika and I were well-known for our synchronization, meaning almost everything that happens to her, happens to me too. At least, similar stuffs happen to us in a slight different time and condition.
These syncs started when we were on our second semester in CIMP and we took Computer Technology as one of our subjects. Since photography was included in the syllabus, we were advised to buy our own camera. My dad bought me a Kodak M73 camera digital with silver colour in Jonas Photography when he went to Bandung. I was truly surprised when Ika showed me her camera. It was exactly same with my camera. The difference was hers was black, whereas mine was silver. And couple days later, I found out that she even bought the camera in the same shop! =.="
Recently, we named our camera as Upin and Ipin. Mine is George Kevin (Ipin) and hers is Fred (Upin). Silly, yes I know. We were inspired by a cartoon of two Malaysian little boy twins called Upin and Ipin. And for the full names, we were inspired by George and Fred Weasley twins. A lot of inspiration huh?
